a reminder again, again, but with even more increasing urgency

Coming up this week is September Equinox! ☉ at 0° ♎️ (Sun at 0° Libra) on Friday, September 23 at 1:03 UTC.

This week I kinda took a break from the annoying migration thing. Instead I mostly worked on implementing a daily hexagram from I Ching for the Oracle bot in the ‘verse. Got that working pretty good, I think! Next up: Geomancy!

Back to Goetia and Tarot experiments for Leraje and Death using MidJourney with 4-up images here, and link to the threads on the library’s social if you want to see them all, individually posted.

By the by, as a reminder again, again, but with even more increasing urgency, these are the last few weeks before the Magick, Music and Ritual 17 deadline on September 30th. I’ve got covers, bonus downloads, and a few submissions. However, I don’t have enough submissions yet for a full release, so if you know anyone who would be interested in participating, let them know. If that’s you, get in touch soon!

Plus Orryelle’s Book of Kaos deck, almanac, propaganda, new and old memes, zine, updates, quotes, reviews, and more!

And, as always, I worked on various other things on website, blog, and more … Enjoy!

When I figured that out is when I went a little wild

This week I mostly spent some extra effort to do more updates on the site than usual and the rest of the time I was working hard on the ongoing, necessary, but still annoying to do process of migration for a bunch of library stuff to the new server Beleth.

Also there’s AI generative art for the week using MidJourney, but I took an accidental, quota enforced break from Tarot and Goetia, and, instead, have experiments to show with the prompts “Magick Bell, Book, and Candle”, a couple more variations on Aleister Crowley’s LAM, and a less successful fugue on Hermetic Library’s Abraxas logo. That’s a lot, so I only share 4-up images here, and link to the threads on the library’s social if you want to see them all, individually posted (except the Abraxas ones which I didn’t post there at all).

It’s 666 doing a headstand

This week there’s a bunch of new “explaining things” memes that I posted over on the library’s social account. The girl shouting at guy at festival showed up online recently as a new image for the overall genre, and I played around with it; and settled on trying out quotes from Nuit. Well, of course, once that happened I realized I also had to do a whole series with the other two books from Liber Legis. I mean … it had to be done. But, I’ll tell you what: it was had to decide what quote to use. I went through a lot before deciding on these for the first round. Should I do more?! (Yeah, that’s kinda like someone asking if they should recite more limericks … Sorry, not sorry?)

Also, I reached 999 posts on the library’s social account in the ‘verse. Heh. It’s 666 doing a headstand!

There’s four posts on the zine blog this week! I was planning on posting on Wednesday but somehow missed it, so I decided to post two things on Thursday.

Also there’s AI generative art for the week using MidJourney for the prompts “Lust/Strength tarot card by Philip Kirkland” and the description of Sitri from Goetia.

Plus almanac, propaganda, new and old memes, zine, updates, quotes, reviews, and more!

And, as always, I worked on various other things on website, blog, and more … Enjoy!

lo que será será!

This week the number of people following the library on Twitter passed 19,000. Wild. It’s definitely a milestone, and strange to pass that number even now I’m not active on big social. Frankly, the number of followers everywhere else has indeed gone down, as one might expect, though the total everywhere is still over 100,000. But, mostly growth has slowed everywhere except for the few following in the ‘verse and … another thousand new people finding me on Twitter. I mean. IDEK. But, cool!

There’s three posts on the zine blog this week and also the very first post on the new calendar blog! I was starting to wonder if there’d ever be anyone willing to step up and submit an upcoming event to the calendar, but there it is! It’d be neat to keep it up and even have more activity for both. We’ll see!

Also there’s AI generative art for the week using MidJourney for the prompts “Fortune tarot card by Pablo Picasso” and the description of Gusion from Goetia.

Plus almanac, propaganda, new and old memes, zine, updates, quotes, reviews, and more!

And, as always, I worked on various other things on website, blog, and more … Enjoy!

I see the truth of it

Today is First Night of the Prophet and his Bride! This is a Thelemic holiday on the anniversary of the first night Aleister Crowley and Rose Edith Kelly spent together when they were married on August 12, 1903 EV. Yeah. “Even magicians do it”—Cole Porter, probably. There’s also a lot more on the calendar for today, in case, you know, you don’t want to necessarily think about Crowley gettin’ it on! Oops. Made you think about it.

Also there’s AI generative art for the week using MidJourney for the prompts “The Hermit tarot card by Max Ernst” and the description of Buer from Goetia.

Plus almanac, new and old memes, zine, updates, quotes, reviews, and more!

And, as always, I worked on various other things on website, blog, and more … Enjoy!

everyone take a moment to send extra good thoughts her way

On August 7 will be astronomical Lughnasadh, Lammas; or, happy whichever late harvest festival you celebrate this week as Sun is 15° Leo at 12:36 UTC. This week, along with a lot of other things that day, there’s also First Night of the Prophet and his Bride on August 12.

I welcomed Phineas Narco’s The National Cynical Network as a new content partner for RADIO @ HRMTC! There were two, two! (ah ha ha!) new zine posts this week!

On a personal note, my mom (hi, mom!) recently had an accident and broke her arm. So, I ask that everyone take a moment to send extra good thoughts her way as she recovers.

Also there’s AI generative art for the week using MidJourney for the prompts “Adjustment tarot card by Sascha Schneider” and the description of Paimon from Goetia.

Plus almanac, a meme, open submissions, propaganda, zine, updates, quotes, reviews, and more!

Er, wait. Hold on. No I didn’t. Okay. Now I did.

Of course, there’s also astronomical Sun at 15° Leo on August 7, next week, at 12:36 UTC, so I’ll mention it again then. But, either and whichever way, hope you’re doing something fun or at least marking these moments in the passage of time some way.

This week I added the next chapters to two of Franz Hartmann’s books, did some work on the social bots, and there’s also the first post to the Zine blog!

A bunch of memes in a trenchcoat

This week I am nothing more than a bunch of memes in a trenchcoat. I have no idea how that happened. But, that’s apparently mostly what I’ve got for you. I’m embarrassed enough for both of us.

Also there’s AI generative art for the week using MidJourney for the prompts “The Lovers tarot card by H R Giger” and the description of Amon from Goetia.

Plus almanac, memes, zine, updates, quotes, reviews, and more!
